OOTD: Winter Neutrals

I never understood why there are certain rules in Fashion…

  • Red and pink clash. …
  • Navy and black don’t go together. …
  • Shorts are only for summer. …
  • Mixed prints are too busy. …
  • You have to wear silver or gold jewelry, not both.
  • Don’t wear socks with sandals…(okay, maybe we listen to that one 😉 )

And  the silliest of them all…

  • Don’t wear white after labor day. …SAY WHAT?!

I personally think rules in Fashion are silly. I love white for winter, and I’ve noticed a lot of stores even carrying white booties this year. I’m obsessed! For this look, I paired my white distressed jeans with neutral tones. I’ve been really into sleeve details if you can’t already tell. This top from Zara has the popular cold-shoulder trend and also ruffles.  I love mixing girly pieces with edgy ones, which is why I reached for a pair of distressed jeans. I added my tan booties, a white beanie and of course, a big coat 😦 (not pictured). 60 days till Spring! But who’s counting? LOL

What do you guys think about wearing white in the Winter? What fashion rules do you break? Comment below ❤

  1. I break most of the “fashion rules” lol, I think they are silly too. Fashion is supposed to be fun and I love mixing and matching things. However the socks with sandals, I probably wouldn’t do.
