Happy Sunday Loves! It’s been a pretty chilled out weekend, but that doesn’t have to mean sweatpants and mismatched socks (although it usually does). I’ll be sharing yesterday and today’s look in two separate blog posts, to show you two ways you can be comfy and casual, but still cute on a regular day.
I thought it didn’t get better than a flannel, but then this shirt happened! I recently picked this up HERE and I know it’s going to be one of those tops I reach for often. I love the different take on a flannel with the choker built-in and the puffed out shoulders. I’ve said it before, but I love mixing feminine pieces with more edgy ones and this top does just that, in one piece. I also really appreciate the extra detailing with the buttons on the back.
I was going to do the obvious black jeans, but I decided to swap them out for white to keep things more interesting. These are also one of my most distressed pair that I own, and I thought it would play in nicely with the top. I think it would also look really cool with leather pants/leggings.
I chose black booties to pick up the black in the shirt, but the look didn’t feel balanced, so I added a black fedora. I have been wearing hats a lot more recently, (probably because I am in that awkward hair-growing stage 😉 ) I think they really complete an outfit.
As always, let me know what you guys think! Look for look two this coming week!
