And just like that….the weekend is over. Today I’m sharing another instagram round-up of what I wore this week, since you guys seemed to enjoy my last one! A few of the items I wore are still available, so I’ll link them below!
On Sundays, it’s all about being comfortable. Me and my boyfriend went to grab some tacos and ice cream in Hoboken NJ, which overlooks the NYC skyline… so it’s always a go-to city to go to when it’s a beautiful day and we want to walk around. For my look, I started with this gingham off-the-shoulder top from h&m HERE. I feel like everyone has a top like this these days. I love this print because it feels a little retro. You guys have probably already noticed I am into pieces that look like they are from a different decade. I love how history repeats itself when it comes to fashion while still evolving.
I wore it with these cut-off shorts also from h&m. These have been my go-to shorts at the moment because they are the perfect fit (not too tight), and just a bit high-waisted to tuck in your tops. I also really love how they look like I just cut them up at home, giving them a super laid back look. Similar Here My favorite part of my look and what I think brought it all together, was the turban headband. I’ve been seeing bloggers rock these lately and decided to try out the trend. I loved it and need MORE! To finish the look, I wore my comfy black mules HERE, and my oval sunnies from forever 21. HERE
The weather has been so gorgeous since Friday. It gets really hot and humid here in Jersey over the Summer, but this weekend has been beautiful in the high 70’s to low 80’s, and no humidity…so I wore my fringe jeans from forever 21 for a sushi date. HERE I’ve styled them before and weirdly, I also paired them with leopard in that post LOL. Check it out HERE
This top is my newest purchase and I love it so much! It has that boxy old school look without the shoulder pads, and the always popular leopard print that I love at a minimum. I wore the same black mules with this look, a fringe bag I got from Zara last Christmas, and these hexagon sunnies from forever 21 are my newest obsession. HERE
Saturday was seriously the most perfect weather. Breezy, but sunny. I spent the day with two of my good friends shopping, having lunch (& wine), and lots of girl talk. I wore this lightweight long sleeve off the shoulder top with the same denim shorts (told you they were my go-to) and my satin bow flats for a pop of color. I also had 3 day hair and wore my turban from before as a scrunchie. 😉
That night, my friends and I and our boyfriends went out to a bar for drinks and some dancing. It got pretty cool, so I wore jeans. These from forever 21, I have been obsessed with. They’re so comfortable and give off the vintage levis look. Not pictured, but it also has distressing under the right bum cheek, which might be risky if you are taller, but for me it hits just below. Similar Style Here.
I wore them with a backless bodysuit from zara, a studded belt from asos, and some pointed pumps. I accessorized with my fringe bag from zara, gold jewelry, and a very fall bold lip (anyone else ready for fall :D).
I hope you liked my looks and got some inspiration. As always, let me know which is your favorite! 🙂 Have a great week babes!
