What I Wore: Leather Series

It’ fall, which doesn’t just mean sweater weather, but also leather weather! It’s finally getting chillier here and I have been rocking leather a lot! Leather is such an easy way to elevate a simple look, and there are more pieces than just a jacket that you can incorporate into your every day wardrobe. Today’s post , I’m sharing some of my recent looks all styled around a different leather clothing item. All items are faux, btw 🙂

Look 1: Leather Leggings

Starting with my favorite look, a pair of leather leggings are a staple for me. I love wearing them with over-sized sweaters, a feminine blouse, or layered like I did here with this trench vest (Similar HERE). They would also look great under a flowy dress instead of wearing stockings. The leather adds much more to the look than a pair of regular black leggings would. I topped it off with a wide brim fedora for a cool chic look. GET SIMILAR HERE

Look 2. Leather Joggers

I found these joggers at forever 21 for $12! They are such a cool piece to wear casually with a graphic tee, or just a sweater as I did here. One thing I love about leather is you can wear all black without it looking boring. The different textures allow each piece to showcase itself. I added peep toe booties, but even sneakers would look awesome with these. GET SIMILAR HERE

Look 3: Leather Pinafore Dress

I really stepped out of the box with this cute pinafore dress, also forever 21. For this look, I wore it with a camel mock neck sweater and OTK boots, but this can be worn so many different ways for a girly but edgy vibe. GET SIMILAR HERE

Look 4: Tan Leather Jacket

My last look is the most common, a leather jacket. I especially love this tan one I own that was actually a marshalls find, although I think it looks a lot more lux. This is the perfect example of how leather elevates a simple look. Without it, I am just wearing a basic bodysuit and ripped jeans, but with it, I have an easy stylish look. I matched it with my booties, but I also like throwing this over an all black look for a pop of semi color 😉 GET SIMILAR HERE
