What I wore: Statement Piece

Now that Summer is coming to an end, I’ve been really been into keeping my outfits simple. I was looking through my recent outfits and noticed they all have one thing in common, atleast one statement piece.

For this first look, I kept my look as simple as it gets with a white tee and ripped jeans. My statement piece is obviously my polka dot bow kitten heels from Zara. These shoes are such a statement on their own that I knew even a plain outfit like this could be pulled together.

My next look I wore a basic black off the shoulder bodysuit with denim shorts. For this look, both my shoes and bag are the statement. I love red with stripes, so this was an obvious pairing for me. These shoes are from target and I am obsessed! They also come in black. Bag is from shein.com

This look I let my forever 21 shorts be the statement. This beautiful mustard color screams fall and is the perfect transitional piece. I wore them with a white tee and belted the shorts with a chunky western belt to make it more edgy. I also added a leopard neck scarf that I thrifted and my black mules from forever 21. I was feeling major fall vibes in the air πŸ˜‰

My last look was the least thought out, as jumpsuits usually are. I picked up this muted pink jumpsuit while I was in Cali at one of their famous thrift shops, Crossroads Trading. I loved the raw hem on it and the culotte style. I wanted to edge up the pretty pink color with these Chinese laundry leopard mules that I also picked up in Cali, and finished the look off with the same shein.com clear bag.

As you can see, I have been all about the simple pieces with a pop of something unique. I honestly didn’t even realize I was doing it, but I think it’s the perfect in between style to prepare for fall. Who’s as excited for Fall as I am?Β sig
