Fall Lookbook Part 1.

It’s my favorite time of the year both fashion wise and season wise. I’ve been loving so many this season’s trends and wanted to share them in a two part lookbook series to not only show what I’m loving, but also talk about some of the trends you can incorporate in your wardrobe.

80’s inspired

The 80’s are back, and I’m loving the big sleeves and shoulder pads. This first look I wore a belted jacket from thredup.com (originally forever 21). I loved the 80’s shoulders and the belted detail. I kept the rest of the look simple with black jeans, and gold details in both my mules, handbag, and earrings. Thred Up is a great place to shop for trends you know are not always going to be in style. I paid $4 for this jacket/top.

Silk Scarves

I also wore this zara top I piced up over the summer with the same big sleeve trend, but this outfit we are talkin about the silk scarf trend. I been a fan of these for a while, but this season they are especially popular. They been seen around the neck like I wore, in a ponytail or bun, and as a cute detail tied on a handbag. This one is from asos.

Animal Print

Animal print is everywhere these days. Although leopard print isn’t a new one for me, I have been gravitating towards snakeskin. If it’s too loud of a print for you, you can try out a pair of loafers or boots like I did. It’s an easy way to incorporate the trend without being too loud….or, stick to the classic leopard print. I’ve been wearing these loafers a ton more than I thought I would, as a pop to a basic outfit or even mixed with other prints like I did here.

Plaid Print

I won’t bore you too much with this one. We all know plaid print never goes out of style for this time of year, but this season it’s all about the bright bold colors… think Clueless or catholic school girl vibes. I haven’t picked up any bright plaid yet, but plaid is never short in my closet. In this first look I wore this timeless Glen Plaid blazer, but I wanted to make it a bit funky by mixing with a plaid top for a mixed print look. I finished it off with my funky white kitten heels from forever 21 that I am still trying to convince my boyfriend are not ugly LOL

My second plaid look is featured around these super cute wide leg pants from forever 21 These are so easy and comfortable to wear. When it gets colder I picture layering a big sweater over it. The wide leg will help keep it long and sleek. Since it’s still pretty warm out, I wore it with this cute button top from shein.com

That’s all the trends I will be talking about in this post, stay tuned for part two!
