Fall Lookbook Part 2.

Hi all. Hope everyone’s week is off to a great start! Today I am sharing part 2 of my fall lookbook where I talk about some more of the current trends I am loving. Winter is fast approaching here in New Jersey, so this comes at the bitter sweet end of coat-less weather 😦 Hope you enjoy!

Scrunch Boots

This year, the OTK boot is SO last year, and the scrunch boot is what it’s all about! I purchased these from Nine West and they have been such a staple for me! Being short, OTK boots just never sit right…but I am really loving the effortless look these give off to any look. Similar Here. I wore them with a shirt dress from Zara and layered over a camel sweater from h&m. I finished the look off with a baker boy cap which I’m so happy are still in because I love them!

Western

Western is all the rage this season, specifically I’ve noticed a lot of stores carrying cowboy boots now. I had purchased some from Zara but didn’t like how they cut off my already short leg. I ended up searching Poshmark and found these amazing western mules from Acme! Probably one of my best secondhand finds. They are so much more me. If you are also short, I would recommend something like this or a bootie, just my opinion though. It’s all about making the trends you like work for you. Similar to mine HERE

Corduroy

Corduroy is not unfamiliar this time of year, but this year it’s literally everywhere…maybe even your local CVS pharmacy 😉 I’m loving the cozy 70’s/grandpa vibes it gives off. I found these pants at my local thrift store but also really love these from forever 21.Paired with my tweed blazer from h&m and a grandpa hat to complete the look 😉

Pleated Midi Skirts

Now I am sure if you use instagram, you seen about 1949749 bloggers wearing a leopard midi skirt lol…atleast on my feed that’s what it seemed like. Although I loved the look, I steered away from the leopard and chose this beautiful striped one from h&m. I don’t want to sound like a broken record, but if you are short like me, stripes are great when it comes to a midi because it’ll elongate your legs. I would of got this regardless but it’s an added perk. I wore it with an oversized sweater from h&m which I belted, and the same scrunch boots from Nine West. And what chic look is complete without a beret ? 😉 Similar to my skirt Here

That wraps up my fall lookbook. Here’s part 1 if you missed it. Part 1. Stay tuned for colder weather looks and a slightly more awkward expression on my face from the cold LOLsig
